***  What is fair craft? ***

According to UNESCO, craft is the product which is produced by artisans, either completely handmade or with the help of hand-tools or even mechanical means, as long as the direct manual contribution of the artisan remains the most substantial component of the finished product.

On this site you will find a solidarity shop with a great variety of craft (clothes, jewelleries, fournitures) and high-quality creations, produced in the greatest respect for the traditions and customs of the Mexican communities.

Our goal is simple : Limit the amont of brokers and ensure  the accurate wage to the craftmen (fair trade) enabling them to develop their activities for a long time and improve their quality of life, contributing to the sustainable development of the population.

You will also discover our projects and articles to understand better the current situation of these indigenous communities struggling for surviving!

Presentation 1

Native of the city of Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz in Mexico and descendant of a Zapotec grand-mother, i arrived in France in 2011 with the desire to make known the Mexican culture and its folk art which is the expression of the inherent diversity of my country. After obtaining two Master's degrees in International Studies and Project Governance in Africa and in the South, I founded the solidarity and equitable RAIZS entreprise around different Mexican collectives and communities. Thus, our products come exclusively from those people who live off this trade and from local agricultural crops. Learn more about my project
